In the battle to fight off evil chemical compounds, The Hero relies on a zero-nasties policy to ensure his wines are all preservative free and vegan friendly.

He’s like a grape-coloured superhero in his quest to ensure more wines are rid of chemicals and fights in the fight against chemical wine – there’s a new Hero in town!
The Hero Wines are hand-crafted from the best quality fruit sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia, including McLaren Vale and the Barossa with meticulous handling in the vineyard and winery.
Our wines are crafted to be bright coloured, exotically fragrant, full flavoured and most importantly, they sing without the addition of preservatives. The Hero range is preservative free and vegan friendly and suited to many cuisines and lifestyles.
OUR WINEMAKERS
Corey Ryan
Corey is a trained Oenologist with over 25 years of winemaking experience managing wine projects around the world. Corey currently manages THE HERO wineS sourcing and winemaking activities.
AARON MERCER
Mercer is one of NSW’s most awarded and versatile winemakers. With extensive experience working in France, Germany, Canada and California, he is best known for his positive impact on organic and preservative-free winemaking in Australia.
